Khador Man-o-War Tanker Solo

Man-O-War tankers are a response to the more impressive armaments and engines of war that Khador now finds set against it. Tankers support their smaller companions in battle, girding them with massive armored shields and laying down heavy supporting fire. Suppression tankers are armed with a pair of volley guns, each being a multiple-barreled light cannon able to fire single chambers in rapid succession or multiple barrels simultaneously.

Weapons[edit]

  • Volley Gun (×2) - 10" range, ROF D3, POW 10 guns
    • Full Blast - This weapon becomes RNG SP 8 and POW 14 for this attack(★ Attack)
    • Covering Fire (★ Action) - Place a wall template anywhere completely within this weapon's RNG and this model's LOS, ignoring intervening models. A model entering or ending its activation in a template suffers a damage roll with POW equal to the POW of this weapon. The template remains in play for one round. If this model is destroyed or removed from play, immediately remove the template from play.
    • Volley Fire - This weapon’s attack rolls against warrior models are boosted
  • Shield (×2) - 0.5" reach, P+S 12 melee weapon
    • Shield - This 'weapon' is a shield that provides a cumulative +2 ARM bonus. The bonus doesn't apply if the weapon is crippled or if the damage originates in your back arc.

Abilities[edit]

  • Bulldoze - When this model is B2B with an enemy model during its Normal Movement, it can push that model up to 2" directly away from it. A model can be pushed by Bulldoze only once per activation. Bulldoze has no effect when this model makes a trample power attack.
  • Repairable - This model can be repaired as if it were a construct.

Man-o-War Suppression Tanker in a nutshell[edit]

Man-O-War tankers are walking weapons platforms that unleash hell upon the enemy's infantry. Incredibly durable with ARM 17 + 2 Shields (ARM 21 against most opponents) and 10 damage boxes each. The Suppression Tanker in particular is specialized to eliminate light infantry from the path of other models, and to also protect Man-O-War units from getting jammed thanks to its covering fire ability.

He is kind of Khador's take on the Cyclone.

Rules Clarification : Shield and/or Buckler     (Edit)

  • The only time you lose the Shield bonus is when the weapon is crippled, or if the attack originates in your back arc. (Infernal Ruling)
    • In other words, you still get the Shield bonus while knocked down or stationary.
  • You don't get the Shield bonus vs stuff originating in your back arc. This includes stuff that "leaps" off models in your back arc, such as Electro Leap. (Locked thread)

Rules Clarification : Dual Attack      (Edit)

  • Dual Attack only grants either:
    1. Initial melee attacks and initial ranged attacks.
    2. Power attack and initial ranged attacks.
      Any other combination of (★ Attack) and initials is disallowed. See this thread for full explanation and links to relevant Infernal Rulings.
  • A model with Dual Attack can make the attacks in any order.
    If they charge, they can do either melee or ranged first. If you charge and do ranged first, it doesn't change the fact that your first melee attack is the charge attack. (Infernal Ruling)
  • There is no penalty for shooting an enemy you are in melee with, however if you miss it must still be re-rolled vs a new random target.
    • If the new random target is a friendly it will get the DEF bonus, since you can't be in melee with friendlies.
  • You can target a model they are not in melee with with a ranged attack. (Infernal Ruling)
  • Dual Attack & Drag ( Edit )
    • This is pretty-much limited to just the Prime Axiom under Syntherion
    • If you charge model A then utilise Dual Attack to make a ranged attack vs the same model, then you would get the free melee attack from Drag. The Drag attack is a charge attack. (Infernal Ruling)
    • If you charge model A then utilise Dual Attack to make a ranged attack vs a different model, then you would lose the free melee attack from Drag. Your first melee attack must be versus the charge target, and you cannot save the Drag attack for later. (Infernal Ruling)
    • If you didn't charge then ... just go nuts. There's no restrictions that I know of.
